Mackenzie Terrace Baptist Church is a church for people like you. Mackenzie Terrace exists to see people saved, families restored, and God’s purpose revealed to every individual. We are a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church discovering God, growing together in community, and embracing the purpose God has for our lives.

At Mackenzie Terrace, we believe there’s no such thing as a stranger, only family you haven’t met yet. Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for years or are just beginning to explore faith, we want you to know: you belong here. We are a multigenerational, multiethnic family of believers rooted in the truth of God’s Word and fueled by His grace.

We’re passionate about loving people well, growing in the Word of God, and transforming lives and communities through the power of the gospel. Our doors are always open, our hearts are full of compassion, and our mission is clear: to glorify God by leading people into a growing, life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

Our Vision at Mackenzie Terrace is to restore people back to their original God-given design. We do this by loving people for who they are, where they are, to where they have always belonged. We don’t pretend to be perfect because we believe that our imperfections only show how big our God is.

What We Believe

Mackenzie Terrace exists to love people for who they are, where they are, to where they’ve always belonged. The mission of Mackenzie Terrace consists of four simultaneous, but distinct, promises that take place in the lives of every believer to get us to the place God intended for His people. Mackenzie Terrace focuses on four core promises found in God’s Word to:

Bring People Out
Set People Free
Redeem Them
Make Them His People

Ministry at Mackenzie Terrace does not happen without a clear and direct approach to one of these invaluable promises:

Bring Out: We lift up the name of Jesus so that people will run to Him no matter who they are and find that loving grace we have all come to know.
Set Free: Study the Word of God to discover His heart for every area of our lives.
Redeem: Walk out the new nature given to us because of the Cross.
Make His People: Reflect the image of God to every part of our community to draw them into these promises.

Our core beliefs are rooted in the unchanging truth of the Bible. These foundational doctrines shape our identity, guide our mission, and unify us as a church family:

God is Triune – One God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ – Fully God and fully man; He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return in glory.
The Bible – God’s perfect, authoritative Word and our final guide in all matters of faith and practice.
Salvation – A free gift received by grace through faith in Jesus alone—not earned by works.
Baptism & Communion – Sacred ordinances that reflect our identification with Christ’s death and resurrection.
The Church – A body of believers called to worship God, grow in faith, and share His love with the world.
Eternity – We believe in the promise of eternal life for believers and the reality of final judgment.

We consider reaching people who do not know God to be one of our greatest responsibilities.

Growing People Change

If restoration is the system God uses to make us His people, then we have to be willing to admit that areas of our life are distorted from what God originally envisioned for us. To be restored, we have to know His thoughts for us by knowing what He says about us and spending time with Him.

Serving

We don’t recruit volunteers, we release leaders! Volunteers do good things, but leaders change the world! We would like for you to partner with us to be the change!

We believe that you can give without loving, but you can’t love without giving.

At Mackenzie Terrace, we believe that everyone has something they can do to impact the lives of others in the Kingdom of God. From our perspective, every member of Mackenzie Terrace every person is gifted in some area, and every task is important.
